NEW RELEASE :-: Je T’aime

OUT ON 22 NOV 19

Thousand Fingers aka London based Producer/Sound Engineer Hakan Ozkan, continues his meteoric rise with a fresh new disco-house track ‘Je T’aime’ due this November and will be accompanied by a verité styled video filmed on the streets of Paris by multi award-winning director Can Eren.

Hakan explains: “The story of Je T’aime refers to a fictional narcissist character who has no respect from others, no care to others, and no “others” in his world … However, he is so happy with who he is. During the director’s stay in Paris, he embraced the personality of Je T’aime’s character and envisaged a day in the life of the character from his point of view”.

After breaking into Germany’s Top 50 and well over 300K streams and counting on Spotify with his last release, Thousand Fingers, who also studied BA in Music and MA in Record Production, marks his return with Je T’aime.

Besides his academic career, he also maintained a professional presence in the underground scene with his music as Thousand Fingers, and Paradisko. T.F.’s release ‘Down’ took place at Kappa Futur Fest, The BPM Festival, Bonobo’s Outlier Tour ’16, and many other events – where it played by Solomun, Maya Jane Coles, &ME, and Miss Kittin. Before TF’s move to London, he shared the same stage with Fritz Kalkbrenner, Danny Daze, Jackmaster, Gramatik and other artists. After 2017, he decided to develop a new career in the UK, and partnered with Made Crazy Music along his path. Lately, his song “Mr. Wiles” picked for three Spotify Editorial playlists and got over 300k streams within a short period.

‘Je T’aime’ also features a remix by UK’s freshest young talent M K E Y (Michael Watson) and artwork by legendary Turkish illustrator Kaan Bağcı.
